The region

Domaine de Bourigeols is located on the outskirts of the picturesque town of Limoux, right on the banks of the Aude River and in the heart of the Languedoc-Roussillon wine region. In addition to its excellent wine and Cremant offerings, the region is especially known for its numerous antique and weekly markets.

With the Cite de Carcassonne and the old town of Mirepoix, there are two historical destinations in the immediate vicinity. The Canal-du-midi invites you for walks, boat trips and various other activities. In addition to its countless natural treasures, this beautiful region enchants all lovers of architecture, art and culture. A little further away, but close enough for a day trip, are Lac de Montbel, Toulouse and the beach of Narbonne-Plage.

Cite de Carcassonne

The Cité de Carcassonne on the right bank of the Aude has been a UNESCO World Heritage Site since 1997. With 4 million visitors per year, it is the city’s main tourist attraction and one of the most frequently visited destinations in France. Approx. 20 kilometres from Limoux and the Domaine de Bourgieols

Limoux

The beautiful small town with its historic centre invites you to take a stroll, enjoy a café in the market square and then go on a shopping tour through enchanting little boutiques.

Narbonne Plage

If you are looking for a pure holiday feeling with great beaches, Narbonne – plage, 70 kilometres away, is the place to be.

Toulouse

With more than 450 thousand inhabitants, the largest city in the south of France is definitely worth a visit. Whether shopping in exclusive boutiques or visiting the Toulouse Opera House, everyone gets their money’s worth here.
